Non-Invasive Examination of the Epidermal Lipid Barrier
The results of a co-operation will be presented at the 9th Event of the European Epidermal Research Network
Congress in Barcelona
In co-operation with the Microscopy Services Dähnhardt GmbH, the Spirig Pharma AG and the Dermatological Faculty of the University of Schleswig-Holstein, the results of a study will be illustrated, in which the recently developed method Lipbarvis® - a non-invasive technique, enabling the visualisation of the epidermal lipid barrier – was applied.
The aim of the study was to examine the efficacy of a cosmetic product before and two weeks after application, in comparison to untreated atopic skin, using Lipbarvis®.
