Improvement of scars
proDERM participated in poster session of the European Tissue Repair Society
For more than 10 years proDERM investigates treatments aimed at improving scars. In cooperation with JW solutions, AVR Consulting and Union Swiss, we have now presented on this years Annual Meeting of the European Tissue Repair Society a poster entitled "Cosmetic quality of scars improves independent of age of scar".
The results of the poster are based on a clinical study with 36 subjects with scars from surgical procedures, keyhole operations and minor cuts. Improvement of scars was assessed by means of POSAS methodology.
The congress took place in Amsterdam from October 5th to 7th, 2011. It offered plenary and free paper sessions and brought together the industry, scientists and clinicians.
