Scientific poster session in October
Biophysical hair measurements - Investigation of anti-frizz efficacy
During the Sepawa congress proDERM will presented the poster "Methods to Assess the Efficacy of Anti-Frizz Shampoos and Conditioners" on Wednesday, October 12.
With this poster, proDERM informed about biophysical methods that are suitable for confirming anti-frizz effects. It illustrates a comparison of anti-frizz shampoos and conditioners with a simple, mild surfactant shampoo. The results displayed are based on a measurement of volume change of the “frizzy” strands of hair during a 24 hours period of time in high air humidity as well as the measurement of the conditioning effects on curled hair.
Information on the congress, which attracted 1,600 people from 29 countries last year, is available at the following link: http://www.sepawa.com/index/sepawa-congress/home.html.
