2 years ago, on the occasion of our 25th anniversary, I announced our vision for the future development of proderm under the heading 'Setting the course and company foundation 2.0'. In addition to significant investments, a route to digitalization and plans for process optimizations, it was also about flexibility and adaptability to new challenges. We now also want to clearly express this by changing our design.

Starting in September this year, we will present ourselves with a new look. It will display familiar aspects in a fresh, modern design while simultaneously conveying two core elements of our identity: continuity and change. What does this mean?

Simpler, faster, better – proderm

proDERM® Institut für Angewandte Dermatologische Forschung GmbH is becoming proderm®. The simplification of our company name is a result of our ambition to be simpler, faster, better – and because most of our customers and partners think of us and address us “only” as proderm®. Furthermore, the company name contains an important message: despite our expansion to different indication areas, our focus continues to be on dermatology.

Our performance standards remain unchanged! When my wife and I established proderm® in 1994, we defined a solid basis of principles that defined the working method of our institute.

Scientific integrity, professionalism, a sense of responsibility and a culture of continual improvement are in our company DNA. We continue to express this in our logo with the familiar pyramid. We live these values – and will do so in the future.



No compromises on quality and reliability

The pyramid – now lighter, fresher and a bit more abstract – also reflects the agility and diversity of our company. Moreover, it stands upright, symbolising our philosophy and vision in addition to our high standards for our own performance. proderm® provides high-quality services and is the first choice for contractors worldwide who accept no compromises on quality and reliability in their contract research on indications for dermatology, ophthalmology, tooth and mouth hygiene and women’s health.


'Our ambition? Excellence'

Last but not least: our new slogan. “Our ambition? Excellence” will express our identity even more clearly in the future. We do not simply rest on our laurels. Instead, we optimise and invest, set new standards, actively participate in scientific discussions and “go the extra mile” for excellent service.

Now, after more than 25 years, proderm® will have a new design starting in September. We’re looking forward to it – as we look forward to continued successfully supporting our clients with their exciting projects.
